Our artists push each other to deliver the highest caliber of work.

Review: WHAT BECAME OF US at Signature Theatre

Review: WHAT BECAME OF US at Signature Theatre

by Aidan O'Connor · June 25, 2026

How does our memory distinguish the aspects of the life we live that make up our remembered life, our conscious legacy? Is the entirety of that remembered life truthful? How does it inform our relationships? What Became of Us at Signature Theatre doesn’t necessarily answer any of these questions, i…

Review: HOW SHAKESPEARE SAVED MY LIFE at Folger Theatre

Review: HOW SHAKESPEARE SAVED MY LIFE at Folger Theatre

by Audrey Cahak · June 25, 2026

To quote the great bard himself, writer and actor Jacob Ming-Trent: “Congregation, that was a lot.” Facilitated by Folger Theatre and Red Bull Theater, Ming-Trent’s one-act, one-man show How Shakespeare Saved My Life was a lot of energy, a lot of testimony, and a lot of reckoning. …

Review: ONCE at NextStop Theatre

Review: ONCE at NextStop Theatre

by Audrey Cahak · June 16, 2026
