'An Evening with Scott Bakula' at Ford's Theatre Jan.18
Ford's Theatre is proud to present "An Evening with Scott Bakula" featuring the Tony Award-nominated star of TV, stage and screen on Friday, January 18 at 7 at Sidney Harman Hall (907 F Street, NW).
Bakula, who starred in the 2006 production of Shenandoah at Ford's Theatre to great acclaim, will present an evening of songs spanning his career. From Broadway musicals to pop hits of his youth, Bakula and a 5 piece orchestra will have theatre lovers humming all the way home. Directed by Dennis Deal and accompanied on selected pieces by the Duke Ellington Jazz Choir, this evening will benefit the renovation and expansion campaign for Ford's Theatre.
Covering some of his favorite Broadway standards from West Side Story to today, Bakula will share his recollections and interpretations of a wide variety of music.
