Today, we're featuring Nancy Marchand, May 31, 1981. Marchand passed away in 2000, at 71 years of age. During her life, she performed both on and off-Broadway. Broadway credits include: Love Letters, The Octette Bridge Club, Awake and Sing!, Morning's at Seven, The Glass Menagerie, Veronica's Room, The Plough and the Stars, Enemies, Mary Stuart, Forty Carats, and many more, including numerous Shakespeare productions. Her Off-Broadway credits include: Judith, Mand and Superman, The Tavern, Taken in Marriage, The End of the Day, The Importance of Being Earnest, and more.
