'Little Dog' Star Julie White Wins Best Actress/Play Tony
Julie White has won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for The Little Dog Laughed.
Douglas Carter Beane's Hollywood satire The Little Dog Laughed opened on November 13th at the Cort Theatre. The show began previews on October 26th.
In addition to Johnny Galecki and Julie White--both of whom starred in the original Off-Broadway staging at Second Stage, The Little Dog Laughed features Tom Everett Scott and Ari Graynor.
The play began previews at Second Stage on December 13th, opened on January 9th and played to February 26th after having been extended.
