He's been mobbed by fans at appearances in Japan, Singapore and all over Europe, and tickets for Adam Lambert's newly-announced first headlining tour in the U.S. ("The Glam Nation Tour") are selling out in one day. PlayhouseSquare's Allen Theatre has just been added to that tour for a Friday, July 9th concert at 8 pm, a show which is being billed as "an audio and visual spectacular delivering glam, drama and excitement" starring the popular former American Idol finalist.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 14th at 11 am at The PlayhouseSquare Ticket Office, playhousesquare.org and at 216-241-6000. (Prices: $35 & $10 Smart Seats.) Opening for Lambert will be two ladies who are hot on the music scene, guitarist Orianthi, 25, and Lambert's fellow Season 8 American Idol finalist, Allison Iraheta, 18.

He may have finished second to Kris Allen in the Idol competition, but Lambert's first album has already sold over 600,000 copies since it debuted at #3 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart. From that album came Lambert's #1 single "Whataya Want From Me."
