Heidi Schreck's acclaimed play traces the relationship between four generations of her family and the U.S. Constitution, drawing on her own life story as a teenage debate champion. The play blends humor and heartfelt storytelling to explore constitutional rights, gender equality, and the personal impact of historical documents on contemporary life. Directed by Jennifer Sassaman, the production stars Kianna Bromley as Heidi, Michael Halloran, and Josephine Taylor as the student debater. Audiences are invited to laugh, boo, hiss, applaud and choose who wins the debate.
