Circa is Australia’s most innovative circus company—a theater of acrobatics, sound, and light images that The Herald (UK) hails as “truly a circus, but with a poetic, life-affirming modern twist.” A spectacle that leaves audiences of all ages spellbound, this Australian group performs a remix of their most popular shows: The Space Between; by the light of stars that are no longer…; and FURIOSO. Extreme physical feats are framed by dramatic lighting and projections and set to an eclectic soundtrack ranging from Leonard Cohen and Radiohead to Aphex Twin. The result is an altogether new kind of circus, at once lyrical, sensual, intense, and thoroughly unforgettable.
