CUCARACHAS is currently playing at Cultural Trasnocho in Venezuela, now through February 3rd, 2019.

Unquestionably the Venezuelan Theater has a certain path and future, the 5th Festival of Young Directors has shown us the talent and creativity of these future values ??of our theater and that is why the young director Jeizer Ruiz continues from January 25 to the February 3, 2019 with Cucarachas , original from the Ecuadorian Cristina Cortez.

In a small and run-down basement in Lefrak-City, Corona in Queens, New York, three migrant men try to resist the worst snowfall in recent years. Walter, a transformer with a disease that consumes him, whose show of imitation of the diva María Félix no longer has results; John, his younger brother recently arrived with a desire to live the "American dream" and Billy, friend of both, who aspires to solve the great economic need of his family working in NY; they are the characters who aspire to adapt to the harsh reality they face as illegals struggling with the stringent immigration laws, urban violence and poverty. Their only hope is to "triumph" with a musical show they prepare to be presented and thus consolidate their quality of life. The three collide with their passions,
