Opera Atelier marks its 40th anniversary with a revival of Mozart’s The Magic Flute at the Elgin Theatre from October 15 to 19, 2025. This beloved production features internationally acclaimed soprano Rainelle Krause making her debut as the Queen of the Night, alongside Colin Ainsworth as Tamino and Douglas Williams as Papageno. With a fully staged presentation directed by Marshall Pynkoski and choreographed by Jeannette Lajeunesse Zingg, the production offers a family-friendly journey filled with magic, humor, and romance, enhanced by the talents of the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra and the Nathaniel Dett Chorale.
