A new imagining of Shakespeares classical fantasy comedy. Performing the full, uncut original text, this production by the internationally awardwinning South Devon Players Theatre & Film Company, brings to life this well loved piece. Four lovers from strict, formal steampunk-styled Athens, run away to the forest, where the fairies, the mischievous forest spirits, are frolicking, with hilarious results. This production is is the full uncut script. Running time approx 3 hours with half-time interval. The previous Shakespearean production by The South Devon Players Theatre & Film Company; Macbeth, won the Long Island Theatre Festival in New York, in 2019, and this show is being created to the same standard.
