Farley Music Festival started 25 years ago and is now a well established music festival, with a strong reputation for presenting top quality, classical music, centred around piano concerts. Our musical director, Nicholas Walker, is a Salisbury based pianist of international repute, and again put together an exciting programme of classical music, featuring outstanding musicians. The Festival is running over six evenings, with five ticketed concerts Tuesday - Saturday and a choral evensong on the closing Sunday. Tuesday 09 June - The Azurite Duo of violinist Takanori Okamoto and pianist Lily Petrova, playing Beethoven, Franck, Balakirev and Poulenc.
Wednesday 10 June - Chris White (pianist), playing Liszt, Beethoven and Chopin.
Thursday 11 June - Sadra Mahshidfar (pianist), playing Handel and Debussy, and Julian Chan (pianist), playing Brahms, Ravel and Godowsky.
Friday 12 June - Alexandra Balog (pianist), playing Mozart, Chopin and Schubert.
Saturday 13 June - Gala Opera Night, featuring Julia Klimek (piano), Rachel Ridout (soprano), Carmen Lazaro (mezzo-soprano), Jack Sandison (bass baritone) and Robert Forrest (tenor).
Sunday 14 June - Choral Evensong, featuring the school choirs from Bishop Wordsworth's and Godolphin Schools
