Thunderroad Theatre Company Presents MOLLY HAS HER SAY 7/10 Thru 7/12
THUNDERROAD THEATRE COMPANY presents playwright Margaret Bruchac's "Molly Has Her Say". Molly Marie, a young half Muscogee (Creek) woman encounters, in writing her grad school thesis, truths about the treatment of the Muscogee and her ancestry that she has forgotten or refused to learn until now. Molly O., a spirit of a traditional Muscogee woman from colonial days, visits her, and with her wit and wisdom, along with her connection to the elders, helps Molly Marie find peace of mind and purpose.
Adapted and directed by Okcate Smith with the help of Julie Little Thunder and Muscogee (Creek) and cultural consultant George Coser. The show runs July 10 and 11 at 8pm with a matinee on July 12 at 2pm. Ticket prices are $10.00 for General Admission and $8.00 for seniors and students.
