Signature Theatre har släppt en första titt på Cedric Neal som framför "Simple Joys" från deras kommande produktion av Pippin. Den nya videon visar Neal som övar låten med produktionens orkester, före deras första föreställning den 12 maj.
Neal leder produktionen som Leading Player, tillsammans med Brayden Bambino (The Flea’s Orion and the Goatman, American Theatre of Actors’ GoodTV) som Pippin. Musikalen regisseras av Signature Theatre Artistic Director Matthew Gardiner (Signatures A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, HAIR) med koreografi av Rachel Leigh Dolan (Olney Theatre Center’s Annie, Keegan Theatre’s Chicago) och musikaliskt ledarskap av Jon Kalbfleisch (Signatures Fiddler on the Roof, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum).
Föreställningarna kommer att pågå från 12 maj till 26 juli 2026 i Signatures MAX Theatre. Biljetter börjar på 47 dollar och finns tillgängliga nu.
Rollistan för Pippin kompletteras av Ellison Bihm (Silver Spring Stage’s A Christmas Carol) som Theo, Eric Hissom (Signatures JOB, Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Our Town) som Charles, Naomi Jacobson (Signatures Cabaret, Arena Stage’s POTUS) som Berthe, Maria Rizzo (Signatures Ragtime, Into the Woods) som Fastrada, Awa Sal Secka (Signatures Play On!, Arena Stage’s Chez Joey) som Catherine, och Ryan Sellers (Signatures A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Round House Theatre’s The Tempest) som Lewis.
