Wicked: For Good, Hamnet, e mais foram indicados ao BAFTA Awards 2026. Hamnet, o filme de Chloé Zhao sobre William (Paul Mescal) e Agnes (Jessie Buckley) Shakespeare durante o século 16, recebeu um total de 11 nomeações, incluindo Melhor Filme, Melhor Roteiro Adaptado e Melhor Diretor, além de indicações de atuação para Jessie Buckley, Paul Mescal, e Emily Watson.
A segunda parte da adaptação de Wicked foi indicada para Figurino e Maquiagem e Cabelo. O primeiro filme também recebeu indicações nessas categorias, bem como em várias outras, e levou os prêmios de Figurino e Design de Produção.
Outras nomeações notáveis incluem Ethan Hawke por Blue Moon, de Richard Linklater, onde ele interpretou o letrista da Broadway Lorenz Hart, e Kate Hudson pelo musical Song Sung Blue.
A cerimônia do EE BAFTA Film Awards acontecerá no domingo, 22 de fevereiro, no Royal Festival Hall do Southbank Centre em Londres e será transmitida ao vivo pela BBC One e iPlayer e internacionalmente, apresentada pelo ator, escritor, produtor e apresentador de TV multi-premiado, Alan Cumming.
