Tony Award-winnaar Nicole Scherzinger, Derek Hough en meer behoren tot de sterrencast die zal optreden in The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular, dat voor het 10e jaar terugkeert op ABC.
Gehost door Hough, zal de speciale concertuitzending nieuwe muzikale optredens bevatten vanuit Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Disneyland Resort in Californië en Aulani, een Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaï. Ook bevestigd om op te treden zijn Coco Jones, Gwen Stefani en Trisha Yearwood, onder anderen.
Verteld door Ginnifer Goodwin (stem van Judy Hopps in “Zootopia 2”), zal The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular worden uitgezonden op maandag 1 december om 20:00 uur EST/PST op ABC, en is de volgende dag te streamen op Hulu en Disney+. Bekijk de setlist hieronder.
The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular wordt geproduceerd door Disney-executive en senior uitvoerend producent Sally Hopkins Conner, die productiebedrijf EverWonder Studio en uitvoerend producenten Michael Antinoro, Tiffany Faigus en Ashley Edens inschakelde.
Scherzinger speelde recent de rol van Norma Desmond in de succesvolle revival van Sunset Boulevard in West End en Broadway. Voor haar optreden won ze een Olivier Award en een Tony Award.
Scherzinger was te zien in de NBC muzikale televisie special “Annie Live!” als ‘Grace Farrell.’ Ze won “Dancing with the Stars” in 2010 en was jurylid in verschillende andere televisie talentenshows, waaronder “The X Factor” VS (2011), “The X Factor” VK (2012-2013, 2016-2017) en “The Masked Singer” (2019-2023). Ze is ook de stem van Sina in Disney’s Moana-franchise.
