La NAACP ha anunciado la lista completa de nominados para los "57º Premios NAACP Image", con Cynthia Erivo, Doechii, Kendrick Lamar, Michael B. Jordan, y Teyana Taylor nominados para el Artista del Año.
Algunas categorías se revelarán durante el especial de televisión EN VIVO de dos horas, transmitido el sábado, 28 de febrero de 2026, desde el Auditorio Cívico de Pasadena, a las 8 PM ET/8 PM PT en BET y se transmitirá simultáneamente por CBS Television Network. El tema de este año es "Te Vemos".
Cynthia Erivo obtuvo cuatro nominaciones, incluyendo Artista del Año y reconocimiento por su papel en Wicked: For Good. La película también fue nominada a Película Destacada, Elenco de Ensamble Destacado, y Álbum de Banda Sonora Destacado, entre otros. Otras nominaciones notables incluyen Wicked: One Wonderful Night de NBC, Audra McDonald por The Gilded Age, Patina Miller por Power Book III: Raising Kanan, y más.
Este año, la NAACP está introduciendo dos nuevas categorías: Obras Literarias Destacadas – Periodismo, que reconoce la excelencia en periodismo de distribución nacional que informa, eleva y reflexiona de manera auténtica sobre experiencias, temas o perspectivas que afectan significativamente a la comunidad negra, o a los asuntos nacionales de EE. Las nominaciones fueron anunciadas en vivo en CBS Mornings por el anfitrión de los "57º Premios NAACP Image" Deon Cole y el presidente y CEO de la NAACP Derrick Johnson y en YouTube/NAACPPlus por Gail Bean y Marcel Spears.
