Through the use of Filipino fan dancing and soulful singing, Catherine Hernandez uncovers the realities of living as a queer woman of colour. From masturbation to motherhood, body shame to burlesque, this multidisciplinary experience reveals what it’s like to be sexy and proud, slutty and loud, queer and brown. Directed by the 2014 Ken McDougall award winner Gein Wong in co-production with Sulong Theatre Company and Eventual Ashes. Tickets are $25-$30 and available at http://bit.ly/afteRock14.
