The Anne Shirley Theatre Company is elated to announce its upcoming production of Howard Ashman’s Little Shop of Horrors (Broadway Version) based on the film by Roger Corman. This show will bring chills, horror, and excitement to audiences January 8 to 10, 2027.
Directed and choreographed by Brayden Ellis with music direction from Justin Hiscox, this fantastic show tells the story of floral assistant Seymour Krelborn and his out-of-this-world plant, the Audrey II. Seymour navigates his rising fame along with the mounting pressure to provide Audrey II with her unique diet… BLOOD!
This exhilarating story is brought to life through magical songs such as “Grow For Me,” “Somewhere That’s Green,” and “Suddenly Seymour” by Alan Menken. This music carries the audience through situations of love, family, work, horror, and everyday life.
The Anne Shirley Theatre Company cannot wait to share this thrilling, sci-fi musical with audiences across Peterborough and the Kawarthas.
