Fall for Dance North (FFDN), Toronto’s premier international dance festival, presents an electrifying range of live performances, Sept. 26 to Oct. 7, 2023 – with all single tickets at just $15 (+ HST and fees). The 9th annual festival includes Toronto debuts from the UK’s Ballet Black, which celebrates dancers of Black and Asian descent; the UK’s Candoco, one of the world’s foremost inclusive dance companies; and NYC’s Gibney Company, who are redefining what a contemporary dance company looks like. Additional highlights include the live premiere of My Mother’s Son from Mthuthuzeli and Siphesihle November; the presentation of Ohad Naharin’s interactive KAMUYOT, performed by Charlotte Ballet; and a special preview of Swan Song, a new original CBC documentary series about the making of Karen Kain’s Swan Lake for The National Ballet of Canada. FFDN’s live performances will be complemented by a dedicated stream of innovative digital programming. Festival packages, single tickets, and complete details at: ffdnorth.com.
