Canadian Stage presents the Canadian Premiere of CLYDE’S, a new play by two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage. Set in a struggling truck stop sandwich shop, the story follows a group of formerly incarcerated cooks working to rebuild their lives while crafting the perfect sandwiches under the watchful eye of their tough boss, Clyde, portrayed by Sophia Walker. Directed by Philip Akin, the ensemble cast features Augusto Bitter, Jasmine Case, Sterling Jarvis, and Johnathan Sousa. This poignant and comedic exploration of redemption and second chances runs from April 11th to 26th at the Bluma Appel Theatre.
