OFF TO BROADWAY is a new Toronto theatre training company providing emerging performers (ages 15-25) with top-notch, professional theatrical training through MasterClasses taught by Toronto's finest artists in the theatre business. The company fills a niche in the industry offering classes at affordable rates, and students can choose to attend whichever classes suit their needs.
MasterClasses include general techniques, one-on-one critique by coaches, insider tips, and the opportunity to network with Toronto's most sought after theatre professionals.  Many students have their eyes set on performing on Broadway; these classes will help students take steps towards their journey to becoming professional performers.

Pop Music with Jenni Burke

Jenni Burke is a Toronto cabaret diva and host of Pantages Martini Bar's weekly Curtains Down!

Three hours with Jenni Burke will teach all you need to know about how to add your own flair to make a pop song your own.  Participants will  prepare a pop song,  sing 32 bars for Jenni, and receive critique to improve their performance. Jenni will also share examples from personal experiences and offer tips of the trade.

Jenni Burke is no stranger to Toronto theatre, music and film scenes. For years, she has performed to rave revues and sold out shows at venues in and around Toronto. She has earned many extensive theatre and film credits, including Little Shop of Horrors, The Vagina Monologues, the anticipated play "Just Like Her" in this year's Luminato Festival, Film and television credits including a cameo in Blues Brothers 2000, Half Baked, Under Cover Brother and Disney's The Music Man. Some appearances include roles on Doc, This is Wonderland, Missing, Da Kink in my Hair, and last year she had a role in "If I were You" which will be released this year. Jenni is known for performing and hosting 3 years of a collective Cabaret called Curtains Down at the Martini Bar Lounge - Pantages Hotel, and her own Act at the Global Can-West Cabaret Festival.
