According to a Tweet by Variety, NBC is moving Smash to Saturdays at 9 p.m. beginning April 6, from the series' previous slot on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. The network will run the season's remaining episodes, which just wrapped filming, but there is no word yet on whether the show will be picked up for a third season.
Ratings from last night's episode of SMASH titled 'The Fringe' are currently up (0.9/3 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall) 0.1 of a point or 13 percent versus last week's official-national 0.8 rating in 18-49.
