BC/EFA's Gypsy of the Year Celebrates Record

The 19th Annual GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION announced a total of $3,927,000 had been raised by the over 64 participating Broadway, Off-Broadway, and National Tour companies to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This beats the previous record of $3,420,000 set in 2004.

The third annual production of 'Unsung: A Night of Original Songs by New and Established Composers' is back at Lucille Lortel Theater this December with a cast of fifteen young performers and five special guests, including Spring Awakening's Lea Michele and Xanadu's Marty Thomas.
