Florida State Thespians banded together yet again this school year to raise $44,041 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, a record-setting year for them and more than any other education-based organization in the country.

freeFall Theatre has announced an all-new cabaret as part of the immensely popular Tandem Series. Tampa Bay favorite Matthew McGee and entertainer Scott Daniel join forces to present 'The Scott & Patti show'. This 90-minute Steve & Eydie style lounge act is filled with inappropriate humor, sequined costumes, tasteless song parodies, bouffant wigs and cringe-inducing audience participation. Make sure you wear cute undies to this show, as there is an amateur strip contest!! All proceeds will be donated to freeFall Theatre and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. Four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein (Kinky Boots), two-time Academy Award winner Tom Hanks (Lucky Guy) and Grammy Award winner Cyndi Lauper (Kinky Boots) were on hand to announce the grand total at this year's Easter Bonnet Competition, which ended in two shows featuring original presentations, songs, dances and 19 intricate, custom-made bonnets. A reunion of the Ladies of SWEET CHARITY follows up last year's reunion of the Ladies of CHICAGO.

The stars will align for the 27th Annual Easter Bonnet Competition when Tom Hanks, Cyndi Lauper, Harvey Fierstein, Andrea Martin, Nathan Lane and more than 200 of Broadway and Off-Broadway's most talented performers join together for the annual event, presented by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This year's Easter Bonnet Competition will be held Monday, April 22 and Tuesday, April 23 at the Minskoff Theatre, 200 West 45th Street.
