Broadway and TV's finest vocalists are coming together tonight, January 4, at Feinstein's/54 Below to celebrate Iconic Drag Roles on Broadway all to raise money for and help support Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS.

The 2015 "Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 17" now is available on iTunes.  The 19-track album of original and traditional holiday music features stars and casts from the current Broadway line-up, and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA), one of the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations. The entire album is available for $15.99, and includes a digital booklet with liner notes about each participating cast, designating soloists and session photos. Individual tracks also may be purchased for $.99 each.

KINKY BOOTS star Wayne Brady surprised today's audience at BC/EFA's 27th annual GYPSY OF THE YEAR competition with guest rappers Christopher Jackson and Lin-Manuel Miranda from this season's Broadway sensation HAMILTON. The trio showed off their improvisational chops, topping each other in a rap battle based on words provided by the audience, including chicken, sarsaparilla, succubus, tsunami, scaffolding and condom. BC/EFA just announced this year's GYPSY OF THE YEAR raised an impressive grand total of $4,786,239 after six weeks of fundraising efforts. Since 1989, the 27 editions of GYPSY OF THE YEAR (#GypsyOfTheYear) have raised $67.3 million to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. BroadwayWorld has stunning shots from the show below!

Choreographer Ray Mercer, winner of Joffrey Ballet's Choreographers of Color Award, will present Pure Motion (#puremotion), an evening of his dances produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The evening will feature two performances at 7 pm and 8:30 pm on Monday, February 29, 2016, at The Ailey Citigroup Theatre in New York City.

The Fred Ebb Foundation (Mitchell Bernard, Trustee) has announced that its 2015 donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS will total $1.65 million dollars, bringing the foundation's total contribution to BC/EFA to $11.65 million since it began eleven years ago. The foundation, which is funded by royalties from the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb's vast catalogue of work, makes an annual donation to BC/EFA.
