A recording artist, songwriter, and Broadway star, Tillis has been a formidable force in country music since her first single hit the charts in 1990. In addition to winning three CMA Awards, two Grammys, and most recently, an IBMA Award, Tillis has also been inducted as an Opry member and has had her compositions recorded by artists as varied as Chaka Chan, Martina McBride, Highway 101, Juice Newton and Conway Twitty.
