Cruisin Oldies Concerts will present a K-Earth 101-FM sponsored event entitled SHAKE, RATTLE & ROLL. The concert will be a tribute to 50s and 60s Rock 'n' Roll and Motown. The concert will take place at the Scherr Forum Theatre in Thousand Oaks on Saturday, October 10th at 7:30pm.

The 50's segment includes great songs like "Rock Around the Clock," "16 Candles," "Great Balls of Fire," "Pretty Woman," "Peggy Sue" and "The Twist." Artists include Elvis, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, Dion and the Belmonts and Chubby Checker. There's also a nostalgiac look back at the great doo-wop and street corner harmony groups that built the foundation of rock and roll.

The 60's segment of the show covers the best of Motown with hits by The Four Tops and The Temptations, then revvs into overdrive with a special salute to sixties supergroups like The Beatles, ("Twist and Shout,") The Beach Boys ("I Get Around") and the Four Seasons ("Sherry").

K-Earth has also stated that the event will feature guest stars for the show. Tickets are $34.00, $29.00, $24.00 with student, senior and child discounts available. Tickets are available at the Civic Arts Plaza Box Office in person, or visit Ticketmaster.com.
