By: Aug. 04, 2011

Individual tickets for all shows in the 2011-2012 Broadway at Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Series go on sale August 28. Tickets start at $44 and will be available beginning at 10 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.theaterleague.com or by calling 800.745.3000, Tickets can also be purchased at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza box office at noon. The bright lights of Broadway shine with THE RAT PACK SHOW, Blue Man Group, MY FAIR LADY, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN and AN EVENING WITH Patti LuPone AND Mandy Patinkin.

The 2011-2012 Broadway Series begins October 25-30, 2011, with SANDY HACKETT'S RAT PACK SHOW. Celebrating 50 years of The Rat Pack, SANDY HACKETT'S RAT PACK SHOW has been hailed as the next best thing to seeing Frank, Dean and Sammy themselves. The son of Vegas stalwart and world class funnyman Buddy Hackett, Sandy knows his way around a nightclub stage. Practically born into the business, Hackett brings the best of the Rat Pack back in a trip back in time that will entertain as only Vegas can. "The interpretations by the actors capture the stage essences of the Rat Pack members in a way that is eerily supernatural," says the SAN FRANCISCO EXAMINER.

Next up, the production The New York Times heralds as "One of the most delightful performance pieces ever staged." Blue Man Group takes the stage November 29-December 4, 2011 and will thrill audiences with its high-octane theatrical experience. Escape the ordinary and surround yourself in an explosion of comedy, music and technology. If you've never seen Blue Man Group, it's a must-see. If you're already a fan, don't miss it.

The third presentation in the 2011-2012 Broadway Series brings one of Broadway's most enduring classics to Thousand Oaks. MY FAIR LADY returns January 17-22, 2012, with all of the grandeur and romance that has made the musical one of a handful of Broadway icons. All the great songs-- "I Could Have Danced All Night," "I've Grown Accustomed To Her Face," "Get Me to the Church On Time"-- come rushing back in this national touring revival of the brilliant Lerner and Loewe musical.

The hysterical musical comedy YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN will take the stage at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza February 21-26, 2012. Direct from his Tony Award® winning triumph with THE PRODUCERS, funnyman Mel Brooks brings another of his celebrated comedies to the stage. YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN brings belly laughs back to Broadway. Zany characters and an outrageous story line get the first class Brooks-on-Broadway treatment in this hilarious send up of old fashioned horror musicals. And there's a great big monster, too!

The 2011-2012 Broadway at Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Series concludes
March 20 - 25, 2012, with AN EVENING WITH Patti LuPone AND Mandy Patinkin. Theater League presents two of the greatest living stars of American musical theater as they team up to present an unforgettable performance of their greatest songs. The original stars of EVITA, Tony winners LuPone and Patinkin reprise their award winning duets from that celebrated musical, along with a whole host of Broadway's greatest hits.
