“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” is a hit Broadway musical about 6 young spellers competing to be the champion in their craft, and take home the comically-large trophy (and the $200 savings bond!). Joined onstage by 3 equally wacky adult characters, hilarity ensues as the spellers are eliminated, one-by-one!

The cast of Spelling Bee includes many local favorites such as Francesca Guanciale Jay as Rona Lisa Peretti, Phil Cook as Douglas Panch, P.M. Knight as Mitch Mahoney, Taryn Holzhauer as Olive, Nathan Daugherty as Barfee, Austin Helms as Leaf, Alanna Reynolds as Marcy, Ryan Caddigan as Chip, and Amy Nance as Logianne. Some actors play more than one role in certain scenes. Spelling Bee is directed by Nicholas Abounader and musically directed by Nathan Daugherty. The show is Stage Managed by Lucas Duff.
