City Theatre to Present LEND ME A TENOR, 9/13-29

LEND ME A TENOR by Ken Ludwig. It's " Stupendo"! Its Theatre, Its Opera, OK, maybe it's more like the Marx Brothers meet Shakespeare, but you will not want to miss the hilarious opening show of the season at St. Petersburg City Theatre.

Keven Renken (Pinellas County Center for the Arts) directs this manic collision of low comedy and high art in 1934 Cleveland. The pace is raucous. Half the cast is half dressed while the other half will have you seeing double. Will the Cleveland Opera Company triumph? Which Otello is the real Il Stupendo?

Don't miss this Tony award winning play. Lend Me A Tenor, favorite of Broadway and the West End, opening at City Theatre September 13 through 29th. Shows on Friday and Saturday at 8:00PM and Sunday Matinees at 2:00PM.
