Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and three Tony Awards, Next to Normal is one of the defining musicals of the twenty-first century. Following its critically acclaimed Donmar Warehouse production and Olivier Award-nominated West End transfer, this powerful contemporary rock musical has built a passionate global following and continues to captivate audiences with its extraordinary emotional impact. At the heart of the story is Diana Goodman, a mother living with bipolar disorder whose seemingly perfect suburban family is quietly unravelling under the weight of love, loss and unimaginable grief. Raw, intimate and deeply human, Next to Normal explores mental illness, family and resilience with extraordinary honesty, compassion and hope. Featuring Tom Kitt's electrifying Tony Award-winning score and Brian Yorkey's powerful book and lyrics, this unforgettable theatrical experience will stay with you long after the final curtain. Some shows entertain you. Next to Normal will change you.
