In an attempt to cure his ailing father’s mental illness, talented physician Dr. Henry Jekyll develops a potion designed to separate good from evil in the human personality. During his experiments Jekyll inadvertently creates an alternate personality, the malevolent Mr. Hyde, who seeks to murder those who wrong him.
Struggling to control Hyde as he wreaks murderous havoc on the city of London, Jekyll must race to find a cure for the demon he has created, and regain control of his self, his sanity and his life.
Based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s 1886 novella, Jekyll & Hyde is the gripping tale of a brilliant mind gone horrifically awry, set to a powerful score by Frank Wildhorn with book and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse.
