Home to a passionate and talented group of students, faculty, staff and theatre professionals, Xavier University's Theatre program creates practical experiences and professional collaborations within its Theatre, Musical Theatre and Theatre Education degrees. With a fundamental focus on offering student opportunities, Xavier Theatre offers a dynamic and diverse production season of musicals, dramas and comedies, working with some of the most outstanding directors and designers across the country. Recent guest artists include Tiffany Nichole Greene (Resident Director, Hamilton Philip tour), Craig Wesley Divino (Co-Artistic Director, Fault Line Theatre, New York City), D. Lynn Meyers (Producing Artistic Director, Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati), Joe Beumer (professional lighting designer, NYC), Pamela Myers (Tony-nominated actress) and Suann Pollock (Associate Producer, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park).
Acceptance Rate:
Xavier University's Music programs are competitive, requiring a Music Program Audition Application, a music teacher recommendation, and an audition in addition to the standard university admission requirements. While the overall Xavier University acceptance rate is 88%, the music program is more selective.

Shadow Lawn Stage, the professional theater of Monmouth University proudly presents a swinging tribute to Ol' Blue Eyes, My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra, running from July 18 through July 28 at Lauren K. Woods Theatre. Sheri Anderson is the Producer/Artistic Director of Shadow Lawn Stage, located minutes from the New Jersey shore in West Long Branch on the historic campus the university.
