About the program

It’s time to take your love of theatre to the next level. Whether you shine on stage or work behind the scenes, you’ll develop your talents in a program that’s ranked among the nation’s best. Collaborate with performers, designers and writers on thought-provoking productions. Work alongside students who are dedicated to their craft. And gain insights from faculty and guest artists with extensive academic and professional experience. You’ll explore all aspects of theatre, including acting, directing, stagecraft, costume construction, design, lighting and dramatic literature. Your experiences — which include professional development opportunities in performance, playwriting, design and technology — will set the stage for an exciting and rewarding career. Our theatre graduates have continued their studies at Brown, Columbia, Yale and NYU, and they’re pursuing their passion for theatre on Broadway and in film and television. So can you.
