About the program

You'll leave Kalamazoo with practical experience and tools for personal and artistic success, connected to a network of successful and generous alumni in every corner of the entertainment industry.

Acceptance rate

Western Michigan University's Department of Theatre has a multi-step admission process that includes submitting an application through Acceptd, followed by an interview and audition, and rolling admissions for most programs. While the university's overall acceptance rate is 84.7%, the theatre program is competitive.
