University of Alaska Anchorage Department of Theatre and Dance

The Theatre and Dance Department offers a comprehensive liberal arts education in both theatre and dance, in which students may choose to pursue either a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre or a minor in Dance. In addition to honing performance and technical production skills, students will learn how to: collaborate and communicate with peers to problem solve complex situations, demonstrate theories based on historical and cultural foundations, and analyze artistic works within a informed critical framework. Please note that the BA program and the dance minor are currently suspended due to UAA budget cuts.
