Our hands-on programs help students study and capture the visual world around them. The Theatre and Film faculty members are committed to providing a broad international perspective, high quality creative experiences, and a strong emphasis on writing and critical thinking. Our faculty are professionally active within the university and in the community, sharing their skills with students. Our department prepares students to be creative, critical thinkers ready to tackle a broad range of careers. Graduates of our program have found success in film and television production, newspaper reporting, sports promotion, law, scholarly publishing and college teaching. St. Cloud State's theatre program has earned accreditation with the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST), placing SCSU's theatre among a select group of accredited theatre programs nationwide.
