Southeastern Louisiana University

It is an exciting time for Southeastern Louisiana University's theatre program. Over the past several years, our students and our productions have been recognized among the region's finest through the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Our dedicated young performance faculty is comprised of professionals with a wide range of experience including specialization and training in film and media performance, Viewpoints, Meisner technique, Shakespeare and other period performance styles, musical theatre, and improvisation, among others. Students learn firsthand from those who have acted or directed in such venues as The Actors Studio, 13th Street Repertory Theatre, The New School for Drama, Madison Square Garden, The Kennedy Center, Cleveland Playhouse, The Hudson Guild, Cleveland Public Theatre, etc.
