Music students at Saint Anselm receive a comprehensive education in performance, theory, music history, and ethnomusicology, taught by internationally recognized scholars and musicians. In addition to taking core courses in history and theory, students receive individual vocal and/or instrumental instruction, perform in such ensembles as the College Choir, Pep Band, and Chamber Music, and can develop their own thesis projects. Recent graduates have given vocal and instrumental recitals, produced musicals, conducted ensembles, written original compositions, and have gone on to pursue careers in music and related fields.
