The start of the 2023 Brevard Music Center Summer Festival – running June 3 through August 19 – is less than a month away! 

Brevard Music Center announces the release of BMC Presents concert tickets for sale to the general public today, April 22 at noon.

The Little Sisters of Hoboken will return to Hendersonville Theatre for another rib-tickling musical. Sister Amnesia's Country Western Nunsense Jamboree runs on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons from April 22 to May 8.

In the sequel to Nunsense and Nuncrackers, Dan Goggin's endearing, eccentric nuns sing zesty tunes with a country-and-western twang.

For more than ten weeks this summer, from May until August, Brevard Music Center (BMC) will bring 40,000 music lovers to its scenic campus in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Audiences of all ages will delight in a dazzling array of concerts and events, experience the inaugural season of BMC's new Parker Concert Hall, be immersed in Beethoven and a 250th birthday celebration, and support the 500 gifted young musicians who will redefine the future of classical music alongside an acclaimed roster of guest artists and faculty. Brevard Music Center (BMC) will present a special 2-week "Festival Within a Festival" celebrating the works of beloved American composer Aaron Copland as part of its 2019 Summer Music Festival. Running from July 8 - July 21, BMC's multifaceted series of concerts, film, lectures and multi-media experiences will provide a three-dimensional look at the career of a composer whose work influenced much of America's 20th century musical legacy. The Brevard Music Center (BMC) has announced the return of Asheville-native Noah Bendix-Balgley to its 2018 summer music festival. Bendix-Balgley, the First Concertmaster of the world-renowned Berlin Philharmonic, will perform his own composition, Fidl-Fantazye: A Klezmer Concerto, on July 27th at 7:30 p.m. at BMC's Whittington-Pfohl Auditorium (WPA). On July 30th at 7:30 p.m., Bendix-Balgley and friends take center stage at Brevard College's Porter Center for an intimate chamber performance. The renowned Brevard Music Center (BMC) continues its expansive summer festival offering to western North Carolina audiences with the BMC debuts of Asheville's Terpsicorps (July 17) and New York City's WQXR Young Artists Showcase (July 19). Over the course of its 82nd season, the Brevard Music Center (BMC) will host a myriad of performances and special events saluting the centennial of celebrated American composer Leonard Bernstein. BMC's third "Festival Within a Festival" pays tribute to one of the most iconic composers of the 21st century whose in-depth creative output included music for Broadway, orchestra, ballet, chamber, and opera. Brevard Music Center's Leonard Bernstein Festival is supported in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Following its successful pre-season jazz and classical guitar concerts in early June, Brevard Music Center (BMC) officially kicks off its 2018 season with an extended (and extensive) opening weekend of performances from Thursday, June 21 through Tuesday, June 26. A masterful collection of artists including Artistic Director Keith Lockhart, pianist Olga Kern, jazz legends The Manhattan Transfer, and bluegrass favorites Steep Canyon Rangers will be featured throughout the weekend.

After the Wall, a multicultural, multidimensional, multidisciplinary, multimedia play about walls around the world and throughout time, takes the stage in a one night only preview at Howl! Happening. With comedy, drama, song, dance, projections, and soundscapes that envelop the audience, this theatrical extravaganza aims to shake us up and start the conversation.
