Ashley Kate Adams To Star In Ozark Actors Theatre's One-Woman A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Ozark Actors Theatre is thrilled to announce that Ashley Kate Adams will be taking on their one-woman Christmas Carol, in a new version adapted by Angela Sauer and Ozark Actors Theatre Artistic Director A.S. Freeman. Freeman will direct the production.

"I am absolutely thrilled to be bringing a performer of Ashley Kate's caliber into this process," said Freeman, "She is a remarkable actress, and I couldn't be more excited for her to climb the mountain of a one-woman show."

Ashley Kate Adams is a New York based Actress & Producer who was born in Louisville, Kentucky to a Musical Theatre family. She made her Broadway Debut at the age of 23 in Tony Award Winning Revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES.

This marks the second time Adams and Freeman have worked together this year. For their first, Ashley Kate won the 2018 Best Actress Award in the New York Theatre Festival for portraying Claire in Freeman's "Love".

Adams is an accomplished actress with a highly varied resume which extends beyond the stage. She has appeared on television in UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT (NETFLIX), ROYAL PAINS (USA), RULES OF COOL (FULLSCREEN), can be heard in TRUE DETECTIVE (HBO) & seen in films such as PITCHING TENTS (Hulu), 1 Message (Dish Network) & stars in the upcoming short film LOVE. She is also a proud motion capture performer of over three years for Rockstar Video Games, where she appears in one of the hottest games this year, RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2.

Beyond the stage, she is a producer running her own company, AKA Studio Productions since 2011. Their work has been selected for over 100 film festivals. TV Properties include: MULLIGAN (2018 LA Film Festival) , RULES OF COOL (FULLSCREEN), CAPITAL ADVICE (ITV Fest) & Films include: ACE (Toronto Inside Out Fest), photo op (Winner SENE Film), and upcoming ABSENT MIND , BLINDSIGHT and she inspired and Co-Produced the feature film BEAUTY MARK which was an official selection of the LA Film Festival in 2017 and was recently distributed by the Orchard.
