Village Square Presents Simon's THE ODD COUPLE (Female Version) 4/17-4/26

By:

Village Square Theatre closes the season with Neil Simon's The Odd Couple (Female version). Unger and Madison are at it again! Florence Unger and Olive Madison, that is, in Neil Simon's hilarious contemporary comic classic: the female version of The Odd Couple. Instead of the poker party that begins the original version, Ms. Madison has invited the girls over for an evening of Trivial Pursuit. The Pidgeon sisters have been replaced by the hilarious Constanzuela brothers.

Village Square is proud to host the cast of The Odd Couple from the Department of Theatre at Newberry College.  Whether you remember the original play, the television version featuring Tony Randall and Jack Klugman or you just want an evening full of laughs this production is sure to please.

Performances run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays: April 17 through April 26, 2009. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8PM and Sunday at 3PM.   Prices are $16.00 for adults, $14.00 for seniors (60 & older), students and military and $12.00 for youth (12 & under).  Discounts are available for groups of 15 or more.  Box Office hours are Monday through Friday from 1PM to 5PM and 2 hours prior to each performance beginning April 13, 2009. Tickets must be charged to a major credit card at the time of the reservation. Call (803) 359-1436. This is a replacement production for the previously announced season shows.

Village Square Theatre is located just off Columbia Avenue (Highway #378) in Lexington between Mike Addy Dodge and the Village Square Shopping Center. The Theatre and parking area is directly behind Bo Jangles.
