Jerry Lee Lewis comes to the Peace Center 2/16

By:

Jerry Lee Lewis will play the Peace Center on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019, at 8 p.m.

Jerry Lee Lewis is one of the first true rock & roll musicians, catapulted to fame by his iconic 1957 hits "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On" and "Great Balls of Fire."

Lewis is part of the Million Dollar Quartet, along with Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and Carl Perkins, and there is not any part of music that their influences haven't touched. Lewis is an architect of rock & roll and rockabilly, as well as a commander of country and blues, and is akin to all-time greats like Hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers and Al Jolson. He has recorded duets with the likes of Keith Richards, Willie Nelson, Slash, Eric Clapton and more, and shared stages with Elvis, Cash and Chuck Berry.

Known as rock's first great wildman, "The Killer" has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award. He is also a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's very first class of inductees.

Tickets for the Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019, 8 p.m. performance by Jerry Lee Lewis are $65-$85 and may be purchased by calling 864.467.3000 or 800.888.7768, in person at the Peace Center Box Office or online at www.peacecenter.org.
