BWW Previews: MIDLANDS THEATRE DIGEST in Columbia, SC 5/10 - Town Theatre presents HAIRSPRAY!

OPENING! Town Theatre presents HAIRSPRAY with music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Scott Wittman and Shaiman and a book by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan, based on the 1988 John Waters film Hairspray. The production is directed by Cindy Flach and stars Madison Nelson, Clayton King, Gil Young, Miranda Campagna, Ashley Hayes, Ella Rescigno, Corey Robinson, Alex Cowsert, and Adam Rainwater. Music direction by Greg Boatwright. Choreography by Heather Stokes. Production design by Danny Harrington. Costume design by Janet Kile. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors 65+/active duty military/ full-time college and $15 for youth 17 and under. Group rates for 20 or more. HAIRSPRAY opens Friday, May 10th at 8:00 PM and runs Saturday, May 11th at 8:00 PM and Sunday, May 12th at 3:00 PM with performances continuing through May 26th.
