Auditions for Nunsense Jamboree Held at Electric City Playhouse 11/14

By: Nov. 05, 2010

The Electric City Playhouse will hold open auditions for an all male cast of Sister Amnesia's Country Western Nunsense Jamboree on November 14 at 2PM. The musical presented as a promotional tour for Sister Mary Amnesia's newly released album "I Could Have Gone to Nashville". After regaining her memory, Sr. Amnesia realizes she is Sister Mary Paul, a former country singer. Reverend Mother, feeling that one should not waste God-given talent, gets Sister Mary Paul a recording contract and now she is on a national tour. Cheered by audiences and critics alike as funny and fast-paced, this hilarious hoe-down is Nunsense fun with a Laugh-In-Hee-Haw-Grand-Ole-Op'ry slant. You say you're not a country music fan? Don't worry! This country music is "Nunsense Theatrical Style"! This outrageously funny show is filled with hysterical one-liners and infectious comic tunes that will have you stomping your foot and clapping along!

Sister Amnesia's Country Western Nunsense Jamboree written by Dan Goggin and produced by special arrangement with Tams-Witmark Music Library, Inc., will take the stage February 3-26, 2011 and will mark the first production of the 27th year of the Electric City Playhouse. No roles are precast, no prior experience is necessary and everyone is encouraged to attend. For more information please contact the ECP Box Office at (864) 224-4248 or email info@ecplayhouse.com.
