Saint Francis School of Creative Arts Announces Five Galleries

The School of Creative Arts (SOCA) at the University of Saint Francis has five galleries that show a variety of work.

JOHN P. WEATHERHEAD GALLERY

Located in the Mimi & Ian Rolland Art & Visual Communication Center off Leesburg Road, the John P. Weatherhead Gallery is a major educational resource for SOCA. Named after the late John P. Weatherhead, a prominent businessman, art collector and honorary member of the USF Art Advisory Committee, this gallery features a yearlong schedule of visual arts exhibits. These exhibits include the work of contemporary, regional, national and international artists. The gallery also showcases the work of faculty, students and alumni throughout the year, and hosts an annual High School Art Exhibition every spring.

Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Sunday 1-5 p.m.
Summer Hours (May-August)
Monday - Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

THE GOLDFISH GALLERY

Named for Ellie Golden and Betty Fishman, two outstanding alumna, artists and patrons of the arts, this gallery features a yearlong rotating schedule of student work. The gallery also serves as a teaching lab for students interested in gallery administration. It provides opportunities for students to learn firsthand how to market, display and properly preserve artwork.

The Goldfish Gallery is an extraordinary educational resource and opportunity for students.

THE ARTIST SPOTLIGHT GALLERY

LUPKE GALLERY

The Lupke Gallery, approximately 650 square feet, is located in the North Campus facilities and features a yearlong rotation of USF's permanent collection and regional private collections.

Friday 9 a.m.-Noon

ROLLAND GALLERY

The Rolland Gallery, located in the Pope John Paul II Center, features a yearlong schedule of exhibits that include student work and the permanent collection.

Friday 8 a.m.-Noon
Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Sunday Noon-5 p.m.
