Phoenix Theatre 24th Annual Brew Ha-Ha Beer Festival Has Been Cancelled

The August 3rd festival was billed as a "New Date, New Location, New Vibe" event, but Phoenix regrets that pre-purchased ticket sales were lower than expected. For years, Brew HAHA has been a favorite for brewers and attendees a like. The block party atmosphere on Park St. outside the old Phoenix location made for a great neighborhood event. The festive environment with live music, games, and hundreds of craft beers, meads, and ales was an Indianapolis favorite.

The 2019 fundraising festival, scheduled to take place on Old Washington Street Pedestrian Bridge at White River State Park with 40+ breweries, food vendors, lawn games, stand-up comedians, and a D.J., was unable to garner enough pre-sale tickets to meet the budgeted goal. Phoenix Staff and Board determined that canceling the event was in the best interest of the organization and patron experience. The decision was not arrived at lightly. The goal has always been to put on a stellar event for both the internal and external customer.

Phoenix Theatre thanks all the patrons who had already purchased tickets to the event. Tickets will be refunded at their full value by Phoenix Theatre box office; ticket holders will be contacted within the next few days. For questions, please contact Phoenix Theatre Events Manager Iris Dillon at 317-635-2381 ext., 5 or idillon@phoenixtheatre.org.
