At eight Sarah Chang made her debut with the New York Philharmonic. At 10 she recorded her first critically acclaimed album. This violin megastar is only one of a small number of professional musicians to be internationally recognised as a ‘child prodigy’.
She will perform Sibelius’ demanding Violin Concerto with the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Theodore Kuchar. Other exciting works include Tchaikovsky’s Capriccio Italian, Mendelssohn’s Symphony No 4 Italian and Sibelius’ Finlandia.
