An exceptional duo returns to the CTCS. Virtuoso cellist Jerome Pernoo won 1st Prize by unanimous decision of the jury at the CNSM de Paris in 1993 and was invited to give the opening concert at the 2000 Pablo Casals Festival in Spain. Jerome Ducros is a superb collaborative pianist who performs alongside artists such as Augustin Dumay, Paul Meyer, Gerard Causse and Tabea Zimmerman.
They have enjoyed international aclaim for many years – Jerome Ducros is not only known as a composer but also as an accomplished pianist and Jerome Pernoo plays on a cello created by Franck Ravatin.The Cape Town Concert Series finishes their 2013 season with the welcome return of `The Two Jeromes` of cellist Jerome Pernoo and pianist Jerome Ducros.
