Get Into the Festive Spirit With Brand New Adaptation of A CHRISTMAS CAROL at Pieter Toerien's Studio Theatre

VR Theatrical, in collaboration with a number of other artists under the banner of Crewworks, presents this year's festive season offering of A CHRISTMAS CAROL at Pieter Toerien's Studio Theatre at Montecasino. This new adaptation of Charles Dickens's evergreen tale of redemption will have Ebenezer Scrooge's famous exclamation of "Bah, Humbug!" ringing through the halls of the popular casino complex in Johannesburg.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL introduces the miserly Scrooge to several ghosts and characters from his past, present and future, taking audiences on the emotional journey of a man who learns to spread goodwill and cheer as he rediscovers his generous spirit.

Brought to life in a way that audiences have never seen before, A CHRISTMAS CAROL is adapted and directed by Elizma Badenhorst. The play is performed by Jason Ralph and Naret Loots, who also provides animation for the production, with the voice talents of Christopher Dudgeon serving as the Narrator. Wessel Odendaal has composed an original score for the show.
